RED NOSES Palestine Brings Joy to the Older People at Birzeit Seniors Club
RNPS organised a visit today to the Birzeit Seniors Club, bringing an atmosphere of joy, laughter, and warm human connection to the older people at the club.
During the visit, our healthcare clowns Sinan and Shadi Al-Shaer presented a variety of interactive activities, including singing and humour, while also engaging participants in meaningful conversations. They listened to the seniors’ memories, stories, and rich life experiences, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, connection, and happiness.
RNPS believes that joy is not limited by age and that every person deserves moments of laughter and positive social interaction. Numerous studies have shown that recreational, artistic, and interactive activities can contribute to improving older people’s mental well-being, and encouraging social engagement, all of which positively impact their quality of life and sense of belonging and well-being.
This visit is in partnership with DROSOS Foundation.
