Healthcare Clowns Spread Joy and Hope Among Children in Jifna

On May 9, more than 30 children from the town of Jifna participated in a joyful day filled with fun and uplifting moments, in cooperation with The Palestinian Women’s Development Society – Jifna.

The performance was presented by healthcare clowns “Tuffaha Al Lamaha” and “Farid Tanna wa Ranneh,” creating an atmosphere full of laughter, interaction, and positive energy. The activities included interactive games, comedy performances, magic, and singing, giving children and their mothers the opportunity to enjoy themselves, dance, and express themselves freely in a safe and supportive environment.

This visit highlights the importance of spreading joy and providing psychosocial support to children, especially during difficult times when they face increasing psychological and social pressures. Laughter and play are not merely moments of entertainment, but essential tools that help children feel safe and emotionally relieved.

This visit is part of “Humour gives hope: Strengthening the mental health of vulnerable children & adolescents in Palestine through health clowning” project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMASGPK).
