A New Music Workshop for our Healthcare Clowns

 RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS) organised a specialised music workshop on 13 and 14 July 2026 for a group of healthcare clowns, aiming to develop their musical skills and strengthen their ability to use music and voice in their work, contributing to more engaging experiences for the children and communities they support.

 The workshop was led by trainer Felitia Tirzila and focused on exploring the voice and how it can be used creatively in hospital settings, as well as working as dual and developing collaboration and performance skills.

The workshop included a range of practical and interactive exercises, including songwriting and singing using multiple vocal layers, alongside exercises designed to explore the voice and develop its use as a tool for communication and interaction.

This workshop is part of RNPS’ ongoing efforts to invest in the professional development of healthcare clowns and strengthen the artistic tools they use to create moments of joy, connection, and emotional support for children and families in hospitals.

 This workshop is part of “Humour gives hope: Strengthening the mental health of vulnerable children & adolescents in Palestine through health clowning” project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMASGPK).
