RNPS Participated in Spreading Hope Among Refugees in the Balkans – Bulgaria

RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS) Participated in Spreading Hope Among Refugees in the Balkans – Bulgaria.

The Emergency Smile team has concluded its mission in Bulgaria after nearly a month of spreading laughter and joy among refugees in the Balkan region, starting from early May.

Our healthcare clown, Alaa Abu Gharbieh participated in this mission as part of our involvement in the activities and programmes of RED NOSES International (RNI).

The team brought happiness and hope to various groups—including children, teenagers, and the elderly—through artistic performances and interactive activities, in cooperation with local organisations. These included a clown show, Circus Smile workshops for children and their families, and Humour Relief Workshops for institutions.

This experience reinforced the team's commitment to using the power of laughter as a tool for promoting mental well-being and bringing hope to communities in crisis.

Emergency Smile Programmes is the outreach programme of the RED NOSES Group. Emergency Smile travels to places of crisis to support the people in re-connecting with emotions, experiencing moments of lightness, and re-gaining hope in the future.
