RNPS held an advanced capacity-building workshop for the new clowns

New healthcare clowns continue their learning journey through ongoing support and supervision, focusing on building authentic clown characters rooted in self-awareness and human sensitivity.

Yesterday, RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS) held an advanced capacity-building workshop for the new clowns at our office in Birzeit, led by Artistic Director Daoud Totah.

The training explored character-building as an inner journey before outward expression, using movement, silence, rhythm, and improvisation to foster empathy, presence, and genuine connection—especially in sensitive environments.

Alongside the training, the new clowns have begun joining hospital visits, gaining practical insight into the healthcare clown’s role as a bridge of human connection.

This workshop was held in partnership with DROSOS Foundation.
