RNPS conducted a new humour workshop last month for the staff of the Jasmine Charitable Society

We are committed not only to improving the emotional well-being of children with disabilities but also to empowering staff at rehabilitation centres by enhancing their ability to connect with children through the use of humour.

RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS) conducted a new humour workshop for the staff of the Jasmine Charitable Society in Ramallah, led by Artistic Director Daoud Totah.

The workshop aimed to equip staff with creative tools to foster more effective communication with children with disabilities.

RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS) is conducting a series of humour workshops for various Palestinian health institutions, as well as students and professionals working in the healthcare field. During this workshop, the participants learned about the importance of using humour in healthcare. It also focused on developing their skills to create an atmosphere of confidence and fun when interacting with children in hospitals, and utilising helpful tools and creative methods to engage with them.

This workshop is part of “Humour gives hope: Strengthening the mental health of vulnerable children & adolescents in Palestine through health clowning” project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMASGPK).
