RED NOSES Palestine and the Palestinian Circus launched “Aileh A’ltakkeh”
RED NOSES Palestine and the Palestinian Circus launched “Aileh A’ltakkeh” (meaning the perfectionist family).
Yesterday, RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS) and the Palestinian Circus presented a joint performance that combined clowning and circus arts, portraying a lighthearted and humorous reflection on the concept of family.
The show was attended by more than 130 mothers, their children with disabilities, and the staff of Jasmine Charitable Society, marking the closing stage of the “Marah” Project.
This performance will also be presented to other rehabilitation centres we have worked with throughout the project, including Nahda Women Association and Star Mountain Rehabilitation Centres. These centres benefited from the project through ten relief sessions each, which provided them with non-traditional artistic tools to use in their work with children with disabilities, in addition to offering them a safe space to express themselves and release the challenges they face.
The audience expressed their joy at the show, which succeeded in bringing laughter and smiles to their faces and allowed them to spend a wonderful time under the circus tent.
“Marah” Project is part of the Innovation Fund, supported by RED NOSES International (RNI) in cooperation with RNPS and PC.
