In the heart of Birzeit Refugee Camp, RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS) brought a much-needed dose of joy to the students of Birzeit Elementary Girls' School in Ramallah.
During these difficult times in Palestine, moments of relief are rare — especially for children. That’s why the visit from our healthcare clowns, Dr. Awad Kabseh and Dr. Areeda Al Khafifeh, meant more than just laughter. Through playful interaction, games, and clowning, they created a safe and joyful space for children.
Teachers and students alike expressed deep appreciation, highlighting how the visit helped lift spirits, reduce stress, and positively impact the children's emotional well-being.
RNPS continues to stand with children, using the power of humour and human connection to support their mental health and resilience.
This visit is part of “Humour gives hope: Strengthening the mental health of vulnerable children & adolescents in Palestine through health clowning” project, funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMSGPK).
